As a life long fan of Status Quo, I have to admit that this band are the best Quo tribute band around.
Ive been pestering them with my presence now for years, Through the times when they
were Doggy Oswald, Scruffy B's and now as Straight As Quo.

Hi Tim,
I'm the lad with the Parfitt chain on who was talking to you at the bar after
the gig last night, so first off i'll apologise if i was going on a bit in a drunken
fashion :-) Last night was spot on at the Goodfellowship, i've done a short write up on
the Quo Message Board. It may be a bit brief but you lot should be getting the sort of
recognition on the circuit that State Of are getting. I saw State Of last year and must say that of
the two bands you have by far the better sound and voices, as well as musicianship.

Ere i am again pete.c i put a message on last week after the gig , saying wot a
crackin night it woz. meanwhile i ave heard through the grapevine that someone
said it was a shit gig! Sound and everything.Well i will tell you now i have followed
the band from the start ,and yes we ave all occasionally played the wrong chord, and
yes guitars do go out of tune.But the person who said this obviously
does not know there arse from their elbow,when it comes to music.

"Having been a Status Quo fan for quite a few years now I came across this CD from
Straight as Quo and gave it a careful listen. The result is quite remarkable
I believe they trully capture the authenticity of the Quo sound these guys can play make no
mistake about it. Track 10 is a revelation you do not expect to hear "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine"
played Quo style, fantastic and well done guys. It is very easy to criticise tribute bands but
as they say quote ;cream always come to the top" and these guys are the creme de la creme
of the Quo world. Judging by this album they have got to be worth seeing live,
you will not be disappointed I can assure you. Finally, I have only one thing to say
I cannot wait to hear the next album, keep Straight as Quo rocking.

M y friends and I saw your show at Bubwith Leisure Centre.  We must thank you for a wonderful night, 
we thought it was well worth £10. First of all we want to say that Jodi opened the show
fantastically, she is an amazing singer and will go along way, she as our support 100%. 
Very well done Jodi luv Pauline, Lesley, and Rachel,  We were the the women
sat right at the front in the middle,  you were fab, stage presence and playing the crowd
like you did was very proffesional well done.The rest of the band were also truly amazing,
we will love to see your Elvis show as the manager was telling us may
be coming to the villagealso.  We hope that is on the same level as this show.You made our
night very memorable and very good value for money, we were upset when you finished
playing but we suppose everygood thing must come to an end, you made us
keep wanting more.  Plus we suppose you do have to go home sometimes or you will not be
able to preform as well, its just we didn't want it to end.  We hope you do another
Straight as quo gig because we loved it, and by the amount of people that were
there We guess they all enjoyed themselves, they must be mad if they say they didn't. 
We have not seen the Leisure Centre that full in a long time.  Thank you very much for getting
the village together and allowing the night to go ahead with no
trouble or dissapointment.  Lots of love to everyone of your crew even the girls selling Raffle
tickets and those doing sound & lights.

         Wow I have just enjoyed a fantastic concert the quality and standard of performance
was first class a wonderful tribute to Status Quo. If you are a Quo fan you must see this band.

           Really enjoyed both Haxby and Roscoes as usual you were far too good for both places. Just being playing the latest Quo DVD Pictures recorded in Montreau your performances and sound match the QUO and in my opinion your drive and enthusiasm is now better than the real thing. Will keep checking the web site for future gigs really looking forward to the next one. Wishing you and the band all the best for Christmas and hope that we have loads of concerts in the new year.

Dear Straight as Quo
This was our first experience of a tribute band and we certainly picked a good one – you’ve set the benchmark!  Musically your sound is so close to Quo’s; by the end of the evening I was so into it, it was just like hearing them play themselves – you were absolutely fantastic and so professional. I think I mentioned to Tim afterwards that you obviously work so hard at this, and it shows; you give it 100% and we look forward to seeing you again some time soon.  I didn’t know you did an Elvis tribute as well so we must get to see that (I’m the lifelong Quo fan in this house, and Tony is the Elvis fan!). Thanks for such a good evening at Filey and it was lovely to chat to you all afterwards (and congratulations Sue and Ian, too!).  All band, family and crew are just such lovely, friendly people.  Fantastic show.
